A member of the Eiye cult group, Adekunle Adebajo, also known as Kunle Polly, has been arrested by the Ogun State Police Command in connection with the recent brutal dropping of an alleged Aye known as "Mosquito" few days ago, in Ijebu Ode. After Mosquito was dropped, his hand was removed. A search of Adebajo’s residence led to the discovery of a Beretta pistol with six live rounds, two UTC axes, and various charms. The investigation is ongoing as police seek to determine the motive behind severing of the victim’s hands and to apprehend other suspects involved in the crime.

Police spokesperson SP Omolola Odutola said “The information provided by the public was crucial in tracking down Adebajo,” Odutola also added. “Our team acted swiftly, leading to his arrest. During questioning, he confessed to his affiliation with the Eiye Confraternity.”
